Use this procedure to change the notes that are accepted and the bezel action.

Reprogramming needs to be done whilst the note reader has power; therefore it is usually done at the vending machine. Use this procedure to change the notes that are accepted.

- Remove the note stacker, then press and hold the service mode button until the diagnostic indicator LED beside it goes out; it will then proceed to cycle a flash ON twice.

- Remove the lower sensor assembly to place the note reader into configuration mode; the diagnostic indicator will be OFF and the inlet LEDs on the lower sensor assembly will now represent the configuration setting for the first page of settings.  The page number is represented by the right most inlet LED flash, one flash ON for first page, two flashes ON for second, etc.

- To change the configuration setting press the service mode button firmly, this will cause the settings to cycle through the options.  Continue to press the service mode button until the desired setting is reached. To change the page, press and hold the service mode button until the inlet LEDs change.

- To exit configuration mode, after you have made the desired changes, replace the lower sensor assembly and the inlet LEDs will flash five times to confirm changes. Replace the note stacker and reprogramming is complete.
